What they do

ImageHaus is a Sydney wedding photography and film studio founded by creative director Henryk in 2012. His background is in fashion advertising photography. You can book Henryk or a photographer from the senior team, and the studio says you meet the person who will photograph your wedding. Editing stays in-house. Alongside photographs and films, ImageHaus offers printed albums and works across Australia and overseas.

Start with the real wedding galleries and films. Look beyond a handful of portraits and notice how a complete day is recorded: the arrival, the ceremony, the meal and the moments between them. That gives you something concrete to discuss when you enquire.

Why consider them for a smaller wedding

With 10–50 guests, you may want photographs that give each person room in the story. An editorial approach is worth considering if you like composed portraits as well as pictures of your guests spending time together. The useful question is how that approach fits your own day, whether you have a long lunch, a restaurant dinner or a ceremony followed by drinks.

A shorter celebration can have a surprisingly tight timetable. Before deciding on coverage, write down the moments you would miss if nobody photographed them. Include getting ready only if it matters to you. Allow time for family groups, and decide how long you want to leave your guests for portraits. Ask ImageHaus what coverage they can offer around that plan; a small guest list does not automatically mean a shorter booking is available.

What to ask

Ask who would photograph your date and arrange to meet them. Share your venue, guest count and likely ceremony time, then request a written outline of the hours, travel costs, editing and delivery. If you want film too, confirm who records sound during the vows and speeches and which finished films you will receive.

Talk about the balance between direction and observation. You can bring examples of photographs you like, but also explain anything that makes you uncomfortable. Give the photographer a short list of essential family groups and flag access needs before the day. Ask about wet weather, backup equipment and the arrangements if your booked photographer becomes unavailable.

Where to find them

Use the ImageHaus website to browse complete weddings, watch films and contact the studio. Its official site lists Client Relations on +61 435 191 485. Include your date, location and approximate timings in your enquiry so the team can discuss availability and an appropriate scope. This profile is an introduction to a business we know, not a priced directory listing or a promise of availability.
